This year’s annual school supply drive, "Ready, Set, Thrive," brought together Motiva employees throughout the company to support local students and families. Over 6,900 items were collected, including school uniforms, hygiene products, and non-perishable food items. In partnership with Northside High School, Communities In Schools of Southeast Texas, and The Giving Tree Community Closet, this drive aims to empower local youth with essential supplies to start the new school year.
"This supply drive and partnership with Motiva means a great deal to our organization," said Reecie Goodman, Executive Director of Communities in School of Southeast Texas. "It represents more than just donations; it’s an investment in our students, families, and community. Motiva is helping us remove barriers to learning and empowering students to thrive."
After the collection, volunteers worked to sort, pack, and deliver these resources, ensuring local students are ready to thrive both in the classroom and beyond!
