Motiva Donates $100,000 to Gulf Coast Health Center for Expansion of Healthcare Access in Port Arthur

The Gulf Coast Health Center is proud to announce a $100,000 donation from Motiva Enterprises to support critical diagnostic services, enhance The Gulf Coast Health Center is proud to announce a $100,000 donation from Motiva Enterprises to support critical diagnostic services, enhance patient safety, and expand access to comprehensive, affordable healthcare for underserved populations in Port Arthur and surrounding Southeast Texas communities.
Funding from the donation will enable the purchase of essential laboratory testing supplies for common chronic conditions and the replacement of outdated EKG machines, helping provide faster diagnoses and more timely care to the thousands of patients we serve each year.

Motiva’s donation will strengthen our ability to serve patients by ensuring we have the equipment and supplies needed to diagnose and treat medical conditions quickly and effectively.

For more than 36 years, the Gulf Coast Health Center has provided quality healthcare services to Southeast Texas residents. Today, the center serves more than 16,000 patients annually through eight clinics across the Golden Triangle region, offering family and internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, dentistry, pharmacy, women’s health, optometry, and other critical services.
“The Gulf Coast Health Center plays a vital role in helping families across Southeast Texas access the care they need close to home,” said Brenda Allen, Vice President of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental at Motiva Enterprises. “We are proud to support their work by helping provide the equipment and resources needed to deliver quality care that is essential to building and maintaining strong, healthy communities.”
In addition to the financial contribution, Motiva donated 1,000 items through the company’s annual company-wide supply drive. Items included personal care and hygiene products such as hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, and toiletries, that will be distributed to the community through the Gulf Coast Health Center Annual Health Fair on Saturday, August 8.
