Terry Rogers was appointed Executive Vice President, Human Resources at Motiva on November 1, 2026. His background includes experience in employee relations, M&A activity, talent management, organizational development, recruiting, compensation, and benefits. Terry also brings a deep expertise in all aspects of labor relations matters including complex labor negotiations.

Prior to serving as Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Terry served as Motiva’s Director of Human Resources and Industrial Relations, where he oversaw HR and IR strategies that advanced the company’s business objectives and long-term workforce needs. He has built a strong partnership with Operations leadership as well as local and international Union representatives. He also served on the Policy and Compliance committees.

Before joining Motiva, Terry held human resources leadership roles at Flint Hills Resources and Valero Energy Corporation, supporting refining and multi-site chemicals operations.

Terry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Lamar University. He is certified by the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service in Alternative Dispute Resolution and has held industry organization leadership roles with American Fuels and Petrochemical Manufacturers Labor and Human Resources Committee and the National Industrial Relations Group.
