Ryan Hodgkinson serves as Executive Vice President of Commercial, where he oversees JV Management, Manufacturing Optimization, and Corporate Development and Strategy.

Ryan returned to Motiva after spending more than two years as Managing Director of Aramco Trading Americas. He has 24 years of diverse experience in strategy and business development as well as finance and risk in the global energy industry.

Ryan served as Vice President of Enterprise Strategy and Business Development for Motiva from June 2021 to December 2022, which included overseeing the formation of the new Aramco Trading Americas organization. Prior to serving as VP, Ryan held multiple roles at Motiva beginning in 2017, including Head of Performance and Analysis for Supply, Trading and Logistics, as well as Enterprise Controller.

Prior to Motiva, Ryan was Vice President of Global Energy Marketing and Shipping at BG Group in Houston after serving as Finance and Procurement Manager in Bolivia and Group Upstream Planning Manager in the United Kingdom. Ryan began his career in oil and gas with ExxonMobil in London.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Esmax, and previously served as Chairman of the Board for Juniper Ventures from 2020 to 2022.

Ryan holds a Joint Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Economics and Economic History from the University of Bristol and is an alumnus of London Business School, in addition to being a Chartered Management Accountant.
